Our Story

Thanks for visiting Nursery Originals. My name is Maureen Roberts, the artist behind the work. I love children and believe every life is precious and should be celebrated. My husband and I have been blessed with four daughters and, in turn, they have enriched our lives with our six grandchildren.

I love working with pen and ink and using the art of calligraphy to celebrate one-of-a-kind treasures for families to cherish. The work combines my exclusive calligraphy font and custom ink colors, that I finish with hand painting. All of the custom art is created from my studio in Laguna Beach, CA.

The hand-crafted birth announcements can be personalized to match the newborn’s nursery or color scheme. Nursery Originals artwork proudly hangs in nurseries throughout the United States and Australia!
